Here we are at the old horse corral getting ready to ride some horses. I had to wear a helmet, so my grandma said I looked like a jockey on a race track. But my horse did not go fast, it just trotted behind our guide. It was a swell ride.

This is a picture of my great aunt's cross collection. She lives in a house in the desert, far away from the city. They have snakes and other crawly creatures, but I didn't see any, thank goodness!

Basketball is my thing. I play basketball with my school team called The Hot Shots. My coach's name is Tony. Tony taught me how to play basketball and about team work. There are seven people on my team. I can make a few baskets and I can easily steal the ball. At the end of the season, I got to be in the All Star Tournament.
Hailey Rose, who scored a column on this blog lives in the Orange County community of Yorba Linda, CA. She likes to write stories and take trips with her grandmother and cousins. She recently celebrated her 10th birthday.
